I am a sophomore at St. Norbert College, pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, I plan on attending law school to become an Environmental Lawyer. With that degree, I hope to work with corporations to monitor their environmental impact and enforce regulations.
This internship pairs my two loves; the environment and legislation. Ever since I was young, some of my greatest memories and life lessons came from being in nature. Boy Scouts of America exposed me to plenty of environmental experiences, ranging from the swamps of Louisiana to the northern Apostle Islands of Lake Superior. Plenty of summers have been spent camping at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation in the Wisconsin wilderness. Learning how legislation is composed and how important bipartisan-lobbyist groups are to our government are just two of the many lessons I hope to learn from this program.
I’m a conservation voter because the environment is always changing, and I hope someday my children can see all the beauty this world has to offer. Programs like the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters makes preserving nature possible.
Favorite place in Wisconsin: Walking along the Fox River Trail in Waukesha with my loving girlfriend.
