Currently I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, pursuing degrees in both Political Science and Public Administration. I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, a very politically and environmentally driven city. Because of my exposure to this type of citizenry, I developed a true passion for American politics. I hope to one day be a U.S. Senator for the state of Wisconsin.
During my childhood, I lived on lake Waubesa. My summers consisted of swimming, campfires, kayaking, and canoeing. Because I lived on a lake, I was able to see firsthand the effort that the Yahara Watershed Foundation put into sustaining our lakes, rivers, and streams. Because of this, water conservation and sustainability are my main concern within Wisconsin. I am so thrilled to be given the opportunity to intern for the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. This internship will allow me the opportunity to spread awareness our public needs to achieve progress!
I’m a conservation voter because without our effort to promote environmental sustainability, our society will not progress.
