2024 General Election

The era of gerrymandering in Wisconsin is over. With new voting maps, the people of Wisconsin can finally hold lawmakers accountable for taking action on issues that matter. Voters can shift the balance of power and return to bipartisan cooperation on broadly popular conservation priorities in the state legislature, with the start of the 2025-2026 session.

The plan
A pro-conservation majority in the Assembly is within reach this year. We’re looking closely at the most competitive State Senate and Assembly races that pro-conservation candidates can win this fall. We're ready to strategically deploy all of our resources by knocking on thousands of doors, making phone calls, sending text messages, sending mail, and running digital ads.

Stay tuned by signing up for emails and as our endorsement process and election campaign draw closer we’ll keep you updated on this integral election.

Endorsements
This is one of the most important elections in more than a decade. With new, fairer voting maps, Wisconsin voters finally have an opportunity to choose leaders who will represent their values and be held accountable by who matters most, their constituents.

These candidates are conservation champions and leaders in their communities. They share our values as conservation voters: clean water, clean air, accessible public lands, an equitable, safe democracy, and the pursuit of clean energy. These candidates give us hope for a better Wisconsin – and, once elected, they will work hard to achieve it. We’re proud to endorse this most recent slate of candidates who will advocate for a brighter, cleaner, more equitable Wisconsin.

Each of Wisconsin Conservation Voters’ endorsed candidates are thoroughly vetted by staff, board, and the people who call these communities home.
