Fox Valley climate leaders host a press conference for climate action

OSHKOSH– As part of its Build Back Better Wisconsin Month of Action, Wisconsin Conservation Voters is hosting a press event on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 2 p.m. featuring clean energy leaders from the Fox Valley Region.
Local climate activists will be talking about the pro-climate initiatives they are working on to protect Fox Valley communities from the impacts of climate change. Dramatic weather events are becoming more common here in Wisconsin and we must act boldly immediately.
Please join us for this special event to hear stories from local citizens, explore actions Fox Valley communities are taking to help solve the climate crisis, and how Congress can invest to make these initiatives possible.
This live media event will take place in Oshkosh at Opera House Square. It will feature local climate leaders including Dr. Shannon Davis-Foust, an Omro citizen and UW-Oshkosh biology professor, Climate Organizer Gregory Gauthier of Wisconsin Conservation Voters, Erin Thompson, member of the Student Environmental Action Coalition, and Pat Hallquist, member of the Citizens Climate Lobby Oshkosh Chapter.
