Wisconsin Conservation Voters support Meagan Wolfe’s continued service as WEC Administrator

MADISON – While the Senate held a fake hearing, Wisconsin Conservation Voters commended WEC Administrator Meagan Wolfe for running effective and fair elections and called on the Senate to back away from politically motivated actions and work in a nonpartisan way to achieve fair elections.

Executive Director Kerry Schumann had this to say:

“As the Wisconsin Department of Justice has determined that there is no WEC administrator appointment before the Senate and therefore no grounds for today’s activities, we do want to take this moment to thank Administrator Wolfe for her ongoing service to Wisconsin.

Administrator Wolfe is an exemplary nonpartisan leader. Despite the challenges associated with administering an election during a global pandemic and the many politically motivated lies targeted at her work and character, she has remained unquestionably committed to carrying out the will of the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Ahead of a high-stakes and potentially divisive presidential election, we must support her thoughtful, steady-handed, nonpartisan leadership.

It’s imperative that the Senate support the work of Administrator Wolfe and the thousands of other good people who are running exemplary elections in communities across the state.”
