March 20, 2026
Set in St. Croix and Pierce Counties, this film follows families, farmers, and small business owners as they deal with dangerous levels of contaminants in their water. This contamination threatens public health, livelihoods, and rural communities.
Unlike public water systems, private well owners are rarely required to test their water and are often not notified when contamination occurs.
The Right to Know explores what that lack of transparency means, and why knowing what’s in your water can be a matter of dire consequences. Clean water is essential. The right to know should be, too.
