I am a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in environmental science with a focus on policy and social perspectives.

Growing up in Viroqua, I enjoyed spending time outdoors. Looking back, my early experiences with nature made a big impact on me and influenced my major and future career. Today, I continue to enjoy my time spent outdoors. I am especially fond of trout fishing in the Driftless and hiking in our great state and national parks. Through my internship with Wisconsin Conservation Voters, I hope to gain insight into the work that is required to protect our environment and natural resources.

I am a conservation voter because I want to be able to make well informed, pro-conservation decisions at the polls. I am also a conservation voter because I strive to protect our state’s natural resources and world’s environment.

Favorite place in Wisconsin: Kickapoo Valley Reserve and the surrounding Driftless
