$732 million in new funding to address water contamination

Gov. Tony Evers signed the state budget into law and delivered a big win for Wisconsinites impacted by unsafe drinking water. Thanks to your emails, petition signatures, postcards, and in-person meetings, we now have $732 million in new funding to address water contamination.

Every year, Wisconsinites spend up to $2.04 billion on the healthcare expenses associated with PFAS, lead, and nitrate contamination. This funding will deliver much needed support for public water infrastructure upgrades that protect our communities from these dangerous contaminants.
