Conservation champion and PFAS activist wins Board Chair in town of Peshtigo

Conservation Voters helped elect endorsed candidate Cindy Boyle as board chair to the town of Peshtigo. Boyle has been an outspoken advocate to address the PFAS contamination in Peshtigo and her election win flips the town board to a pro-conservation and female majority, and positions them to take local action on PFAS to the full extent of the law.

The town of Peshtigo has experienced some of the worst instances of PFAS contamination in the state. Wisconsin Conservation Voters has fought to bring attention to the PFAS issue in Peshtigo and deployed mailers and digital ads to help elect Boyle to this important position by an impressive 16 percent.
