The election of Judge Chris Taylor to the Wisconsin Supreme Court

On Tuesday, April 7, Wisconsin sent a powerful message by electing Judge Chris Taylor to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court. It was a resounding landslide that demonstrated the immense breadth of support for pro-conservation values across every corner of the state. 

Judge Taylor won by a 20-point margin (60 percent to 40 percent), nearly doubling the margins of other recent judicial victories. You stepped up with nearly 400 volunteer shifts, helping us send more than 20,000 postcards to voters. Even in a lower-profile spring race, your energy outpaced our 2025 efforts.

In a time of immense uncertainty at the federal level, Wisconsin has built a firewall. We have ensured that our state’s highest court will remain a fair, independent check against corporate overreach and a defender of our most basic rights, like clean drinking water and the freedom to vote.
