UW-Stout Student Senate passes resolution supporting clean energy on the city level

The UW-Stout Student Senate passed a resolution urging the Menomonie City Council to set a goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. The resolution recognizes that the “University of Wisconsin-Stout prides itself on its sustainability practices and is constantly pursuing ways to further reduce the climate impact of the campus … and what is good for the City of Menomonie is good for the University of Wisconsin-Stout.”

The resolution passed following a partnership between Wisconsin Conservation Voters and the UW-Stout Student Senate.
