Wisconsin’s elections should be accessible to all voters. Ballot dropboxes provide an important option for voters who vote absentee. AB 560 & SB 554 would ban the use of absentee ballot drop boxes, creating a new barrier to the ballot for these voters.
Current Status
AB 560 was introduced on Oct. 15, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections. A public hearing was held on Nov. 4, 2025.
SB 554 was introduced on Oct. 17, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Labor and Economic Development. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
Ask your legislators to oppose AB 560 & SB 554.
