Bill Description
Climate change threatens the health of our communities and the environment. Wisconsin has developed a comprehensive Clean Energy Plan that would reduce our carbon pollution, but the state does not have the ability to ensure these pollution reductions are met. AB 145 & SB 150 would require Wisconsin to adopt a concrete and accountable climate action plan that maximizes economic opportunities for all Wisconsinites.

AB 145 was introduced on Mar. 14, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Environment. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
SB 150 was introduced on Mar. 21, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Labor and Economic Development. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
