Bill Description
Decisions to reevaluate health-based standards should be based on newly available science, not on arbitrary political timelines. Constantly reevaluating well-established public health-based standards is a waste of resources. AB 993 & SB 980 would put an expiration date on health-based standards, requiring the DNR to repromulgate administrative rules for environmental contaminants every eight years.
