AJR 33 & SJR 33 : Establishing an Economic Justice Bill of Rights

Bill Description

Every Wisconsinite should have equitable access to the resources they need to drink safe drinking water, breathe clean air, put food on the table, make a housing payment, get the healthcare they need, live free from oppression, and find time for rest and leisure. AJR 33 & SJR 33 propose an Economic Justice Bill of Rights which would affirm Wisconsin’s commitment to these rights.

AJR 33 was introduced on Apr. 23, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Rules. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing. SJR 33 was introduced on Apr. 25, 2024, and referred to the Senate Committee on Organization. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
