Bill Description
To protect health and quality of life for future generations, we must ensure young Wisconsinites are connected to our waters and lands. AB 267 & SB 265 provide an opportunity for every Wisconsinite to experience our state parks with their families by providing free state park admission on Earth Day.
Current Status
AB 267 was introduced on May 19, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation. A public hearing was held on Aug. 26, 2025. SB 265 was introduced on May 20, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Sporting Heritage. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
