AB 1203 & SB 1150 : Getting Wisconsin's energy to 100% carbon-free

Bill Description

Investing in clean energy is a win-win. Solar and wind are the cheapest and quickest fuel sources to build while reducing the need for polluting fossil fuels that harm our health. AB 1203 & SB 1150 would require Wisconsin to generate 100% of our energy from carbon-free energy sources by 2050.

AB 1203 was introduced on Mar. 19, 2026, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Environment. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.

SB 1150 was introduced on Mar. 19, 2026, and referred to the Senate Committee on Utilities, Technology and Tourism. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
