SB 297 & AB 290 : License plates for pollinators

Bill Description

We need funding that supports protecting our pollinators from extinction. SB 297 & AB 290 would create a specialty state license plate that would help generate funds to protect pollinators through Wisconsin’s Endangered Resources Fund at the Department of Natural Resources.

SB 297 was introduced on May 30, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Transportation and Local Government. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing. AB 290 was introduced on May 30, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Transportation. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
