Bill Description
To protect Wisconsin communities from PFAS contamination, we need to hold polluters accountable. AB 130 & SB 137 work against this goal by creating broad exemptions to Wisconsin’s spills law, a tool that has protected Wisconsinites from pollution for decades.
Current Status
AB 130 was introduced on Mar. 13, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Environment. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing. SB 127 was introduced on Mar. 14, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources, Veteran and Military Affairs. A public hearing was held on Oct. 7, 2025.
Ask your legislators to oppose AB 130 & SB 127.
