Bill Description
Wisconsinites should have a right to know and influence what chemicals are being added to our water. SB 316 would allow individuals to add certain chemicals to shared waters without DNR oversight and without the consent of impacted neighbors.

SB 316 was introduced on May 31, 2023, and referred to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing. AB 318 was introduced on June 9, 2023, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Environment. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
Ask your legislators to oppose SB 316 & AB 318.
