Bill Description
Public transportation connects us to work, school, and the people we love. We need better mechanisms for linking transportation services across jurisdictional lines. SB 754 would reestablish regional transit authorities to provide communities with a governance structure for planning and funding regional transit.
Current Status
SB 754 was introduced on Dec. 12, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Transportation and Local Government. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
