Managed grazing protects our water and builds healthy soil. Wisconsin should assist farmers in transitioning to managed grazing systems on perennial grasslands. SB 113 & AB 118 would create a new program for providing grants to farmers in making the transition to managed grazing.

SB 113 was introduced on Mar. 7, 2025, and referred to the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Revenue. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing. AB 118 was introduced on Mar. 11, 2025, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Agriculture. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
