Gov. Evers creates the Governor’s Task Force on Climate Change

The task force will advise and assist the governor in developing a strategy to reduce climate emissions and adapt to the effects of climate change. It will work closely with the Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy.

We are proud to announce that Gov. Evers named Executive Director Kerry Schumann to the Climate Change Task Force, which includes legislators, scientists, energy providers, farmers, tribal representatives, and other environmental advocacy groups. The announcement came just before this year’s Green Tie Gala – great timing for a victory celebration!
