Bill Description
To protect our communities from PFAS, we need to establish public health based standards, fund remediation efforts, and prevent PFAS from getting into our environment in the first place. SB 1104 would take this comprehensive approach to protecting our water from PFAS by establishing public health-based standards, creating community grant programs, and phasing out the non-essential use of PFAS in consumer products.

SB 1104 was introduced on April 11, 2024, and referred to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Energy. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
