Bill Description
We need to limit the use of neonicotinoids, a class of insecticides known to be particularly harmful to pollinator habitats. SB 360 & AB 360 would prohibit DNR from using neonicotinoids near any pollinator habitat located on land maintained by the DNR.
Current Status
SB 360 was introduced on July 13, 2023, and referred to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Energy. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing. AB 360 was introduced on July 27, 2023, and referred to the Assembly Committee on Agriculture. It is available to be scheduled for a public hearing.
